Anime North 2012

I am excite! At first I thought I wouldn't be able to go for the whole weekend, but destiny hath spoken and given me and my BFF a place to stay for the weekend with friends! I am so excited and now have less than a week to complete my costume for it. Sure I have 20+ costumes from previous years I could wear but YAY COSTUMES.

I wanted to make Fuu from Samurai Champloo this year, and thought I had all the fabric needed. Turns out I had just BARELY enough to make it, with lots of close calls in measuring properly. I always have crazy adventures and dilemmas when I make my costumes. It's part of the fun.

I made a delightful mess of the living room and plan to keep at it. Laterz! I'll post pictures soon.

Threadless!

I'd always wanted to submit a design on Threadless, and now I've finally started. It is pending approval still, but give it a look over. It's a design I did during school.

Oh me oh my!

I like drawing sexy females the most. Curves are just the best to play with when drawing. Here is something I just did for a couple of friends of their characters.

James Street

A short while ago I visited James street in downtown Hamilton. I had gone there with the intention to interview a small business owner and ask how they started out. That was the intention, but I ended up just taking in the scenery of downtown instead.

This is a pretty nice looking cafe. I kind of wanted to go in and order something to take in the atmosphere. Too bad I don't like coffee.

I am a terrible photographer. I'm actually surprised none of my pictures that day came out blurry. I'd been shooting one handed most of the day.

I had to take a few photos of this amazing Church. Later that night during the Art Crawl it was set up with lots of booths full of hand crafted things for sale.

The Art Crawl happens every second Friday on James Street. I'll link the website down below.
